GIS Tips and Techniques
I have just finished reading through the Kindle Edition of Exploring AutoCAD Map 3D 2013, written by Sham Tickoo and published by CADCIM Technologies. I am now on my second read through it, wherein I am doing the tutorials and exercises. Although their webpage for this book and its resources does not list any errata, there are a number of them that should be noted. I will create my own errata for this book, to be linked from here, shortly.
When mosaicking DEMs, sometimes gaps of "nodata" result. Here is a technique that I employed to address this: Mosaicked DEM Gap Removal.
