Line Break

Updated my Education Background Resumè on my Resumès webpage.

I have started some webpages for stock dividend tracking. The webpage is located at http://www.the-hurds.net/Dividend-Calendars/index.shtml.

Machining - This webpage is all about metal turning and useful links that I have accumulated in researching the antique Atlas metal lathe that I recently acquired.

Furniture Refinishing - After buying several ladderback chairs very inexpensively, because they needed refinishing, I have thrown together this webpage of links, resources and hints.

Woodturning and Wood Lathes - An accumulation of links and information from my research on wood turning. I need to turn a few chair legs, so I am opting to purchase a wood lathe. I currently won one on eBay, but the seller is not shipping it, even though I paid for it within minutes of the end of auction on 21 September, it is now the 30th and it still has not arrived - shipped by USPS Priority Mail.

Potbelly Stoves - An accumulation of links and information from my research on the Sun 50 potbelly stove that I had purchased.

Archery Links

I have added a new webpage for RailFanning, it is Dave Hurd's RailFan Depot. Although it is not setup to be all-inclusive, it does have the online video clips which I have made, along with preview images of the videos at their actual size.

Frequently Accessed Websites which we have found useful, feel free to download and use our favorite links.

GIS, GPS and Mapping Links

HistoryThroughPhotos.com - a source of quality photographic prints of historic scenes.

My Favorite Stock Pics - just a little bunch of pages that I watch during lunch to see what is going on with my investments. November 2009 update - I had a fairly intersting experience with some stocks over the past month; after the stock purchase had settled out, I set some stocks up for selling at a somewhat high sell limit price (25% over my purchase price) and was rather surprised one day, when at lunchtime, I found that they had sold! This has started me on a new strategy - listing stocks for sale as soon as the purchase settlement date passes, unless of course there is a decent dividend upcoming.

Artists-Galleria.com - is back again, after getting it back from a domain name predator.

Covered Bridge News - November 2009, a new set of webpages to help collect interesting covered bridge articles that I find online.
